Issue 5 - Artist Collaboration
Anna Maria Schönrock is a young German painter. She lives and works in Nuremberg. Her artistic research reflects on abstraction and figuration and how the two intertwine. She is also very interested in the idea of painting as narrative. Combining fictional and abstract elements, the narrative oscillates between past, present and future – illusion and dreams. Painting thus becomes an experimental arrangement, similar to a research trip, a path to explore.
